The Exposition Universelle of 1900, or World's Fair, was held in Paris, France. The purpose of the expo was to celebrate modern technology and innovations. The fair's design, art and architecture was done in Art Nouveau, introducing the style to the rest of the world. The fair was visited by 50 million people.
