Shelley is surprised to learn that her father died six months ago and left her an inheritance. After all, she grew up being told that her father was already dead! To find some answers, Shelley sets out to meet the family her father remarried into. There she finds waiting for her the Count of Hilvares, a man who looks like someone out of a movie.
