Paying the Forfeit

In a post apocalyptic world, a young girl fights for not only survival but also her heart. 

I've loved him from the moment I set eyes on him, but he was pledged to my sister as part of a newly forged alliance between our two tribes.

So I left my family and sought a different life in the doomed city called the Fortress - alone. Four years later, my mother begs me to return. Since my sister has refused to honour the agreement, the forfeit must be paid. Or my remaining family will be banished to the wastelands. 

But he's assigned to protect me as I search for the cache of prized yellow sapphires. To my dismay, all my suppressed desires explode into life. 

Now I must decide - take one long hot night with the warrior who owns my heart - or walk away forever.
