An interesting idea

Somehow this book just didn’t land for me. Many aspects of the story and characters were genuinely interesting and the subject matter is important but the plot felt really weak at times - especially in the end -. Some chapters were particularly long-winded, like unedited rants. Which I felt is a shame because some powerful messages got lost along the way.
