CASE DESCRIPTION The primary focus of this case is on the problem solving processes and tools used by a large retail organization as it attempts to reduce legal expenses and improve efficiency. Secondary issues include project management, teamwork, organizational behavior, and action planning, following the implementation of a new strategy. The case is appropriate for undergraduate and graduate level students. It is designed to be taught in a two-hour course segment and does require several hours of outside preparation by students.
