Rainbow Nursery Chimes
One Octave Tunes for Handbells or Chimes
Description de l’éditeur
This book uses keynote presentation style to enable a team of players to play numbered music using a one octave set of chimes. Each note has a colour and a number so that 8 single players or 4 players each with two chimes can make music together.
Twenty nursery rhyme tunes have been chosen for this first book.
Each tune has an introductory page, then
• the MELODY ONLY version of the tune
• the MELODY plus accompaniment
To advance from page to page the "conductor" taps the screen just before the music reaches the end of that page
There is also a DEMO version, where a few introductory beats are given, then the music is played - and pages turned automatically in time with the music. This enables the players to see what it should sound like when they all play their bells correctly. It also enables a single player to practise their bells by themselves with the iPAD providing all of the other bells.
Numbered bell ringing is still used by handbell teams when playing "four-in-hand" music, particularly popular at Christmas.
