Rangabhumi

'Rangabhumi' was written in 1924. It's an epics some novel and a great commentary of life Indians always lived under foreign Riles. He begins an arduous journey to protect self-esteem and the community brotherhood against terribly powerful colonialists. Compassionate Sophia, daughter of Mr Sewak, disapproving her father's atrocious ploys against the farmers, supports Surdas and his people. Sophia shines as the torch-bearer of English catholicism, even works against her father. The novel unfolds speedily through plots and sub-plots to a remarkable finale.
