Reiff V. Roy

Robert Reiff (Reiff) appeals the trial court's order granting the special appearance filed by Bipin V. Roy and Mina Roy, individually and d/b/a PND Investment, Econolodge, and Econo Lodge Colorado Springs (collectively "Roy"). In six points of error, Reiff contends the trial court erred when it sustained Roy's special appearance, vacated the default judgment taken against Roy, denied Reiff's motion for sanctions, and failed to make findings of fact and conclusions of law. Because the trial court correctly applied the law in granting Roy's special appearance, did not abuse its discretion when denying Reiff's motion for sanctions, and did not prejudice Reiff by failing to make findings of fact and conclusions of law, we affirm the trial court's order.
