Fourteen-year-old Jemma loved music, so when the CrossRoad Band pulled into the park near her projects, she was intrigued. Drawn in by the hard rock style, Jemma swayed to the music, jumped at the flash pots, and danced during the light show. She wanted to be on that stage someday with her sequinned outfit, jamming to the beat. When her day finally arrives, she hopes to prove her worth and her music as the band performs in the bowels of a maximum-security prison. Jemma hadn't counted on being kidnapped and trapped.
