Ron Barassi played 204 games for Melbourne between 1952-64 and 50 games for Carlton between 1965-69. In a coaching career spanning more than 30 years, Barassi worked at Carlton, North Melbourne, Melbourne and Sydney. Famous for wearing the No. 31 guernsey, Barassi participated in 17 Grand Finals as a player or coach for 10 premiership victories. He was inducted into the Australian Football Hall of Fame in 1996 and elevated to Legend status the same year.
