A soul-travel story involving a journey from a high-magic plane to a low-magic plane.

From birth to death, and for the two hundred years following, the Lich had never left the Necrotower or its surrounding territories. Having had almost no contact with the world of the living, the Lich lost its physical form during the dimensional crossing and was swept into a strange world devoid of the magic grid-when the deceased opened its eyes once more, it gazed upon this innocent, prosperous, peaceful, orderly, and therefore ignorant, decadent, weak, and numb-a colossal creature that lay right before his eyes, within arm's reach.

The ending is absolutely a happy ending for everyone!
