Gros coup de cœur pour cette histoire.
Emily est une fille avec une poisse phénoménale et un franc parlé "sans bornes". En apparence, elle semble forte et rebelle, mais on l'a découvre aussi sensible.
Jake est un agent spécial charmant et joueur, surtout depuis qu'il s'est donné pour mission de protéger Emily. C'est d'ailleurs pour accomplir sa mission qu'il décide de la cacher chez sa famille, au fin fond du Texas.
Et cette pauvre Emily, citadine aimant confort et s'amuser, va vite déchanter en arrivant là-bas...
L'auteure a mis l'humour au premier plan de cette romance et on en redemande !
