Description de l’éditeur

INTRODUCTION Low beef cattle production in developing countries may be caused by inadequate nutrient supply in the high-forage based ration. The smallholder farmers have limited feed resources available for feeding their livestock. To overcome these problems, a strategy to maximize the utilization of available feed resources in the rumen is required; i.e by providing an optimum condition for bacterial growth using a feed supplement as a defaunating agent.
