After returning to Meridiana, the professor begins work on creating a new bionic arm for himself. Unfortunately, his attempts to clone one become futile.

Failure after failure, he begins to slip into madness. As pain overtakes him, he starts to lose control and begins to spiral mentally and emotionally.
