Saint Francis and the Christmas Miracle at Greccio

The beginning of the Christmas Nativity, began with St. Francis of Assisi, in the little town of Greccio Italy. It was there, in 1223 that St. Francis used real animals surrounded by some of the towns people of Greccio portraying Joseph and Mary that he recreated the Nativity Scene from Bethlehem.
