Samba and Mandy

Denise Roxanne Bunbury-Westford was born in Guyana, South America. She migrated to the United States in the mid 1990's with her son Marlon, and was joined by her husband Lindsley (Wayne) in 2004. The family currently lives in Brooklyn, New York.
Denise taught the Nursery Sunday School Class at her church for several years. It was her love for children and the many pleasant experiences she had working with them that inspired her to write children's books. She hopes that her books, even though they are based on the Bible would be a universal reading tool for children of all religions.
