Dr. Lauryne Michel had everything going for her. After years of hard work, she landed her first job as an OB/Gyn doctor at a medical center in Seattle. When driving home to celebrate with her fiance, Trey Benton, the roads leading home were icy and the visibility hindered with thick fog. With the inclimate weather and a small animal in the road, her fate was decided and her perfect life ended.
While under the guidance of archangel, Daniel, she learns she'll remain in limbo as she still has unfinished business on Earth. This boggles her but there is hope in sight when Daniel informs her to contact a detective from the underworld, Ezio Diavolo, by saying his name three times.
