Rose Matthews is thought to be a woman who has everything. However, back in the 80s and 90s, Rose Matthews was an underappreciated mother and wife. She helped run a successful business and household, but never got help with that. Her husband was always on the go, and she wasn't sure if she had become a business partner rather than a lover and wife.

Sick of the hum-drum, Rose looks beyond her humanity to the bloodline running through her. As a child of dragon mages, she is tempted to throw off traditional values and allow herself to be pulled to the other world, where supernatural beings rule and life is anything but boring.

Will she find what she's looking for there? If she does, what will that do to her future in this world?
