Pranks against each other in elementary school lead to love in high school for Cynthia and Ryan.  A smouldering, intense love framed on the backdrop of Cynthia’s father leaving in shame, abandoning her and her mother.  So when Ryan heads off to college, Cynthia accepts that their love is over. 


Years later, Ryan’s back and more devastatingly handsome and rugged than ever.  And the smoldering that had been intense in high school erupts into passion so intense, it threatens to burn them both.  Until Cynthia’s mother gets sick…Cynthia has to go to her – and all of her confusing emotions bubble up, leaving her confused and not sure what to do about her feelings for Ryan.
