Seven Keys to Baldpate is a detective novel by Earl Derr Biggers. The story follows a renowned writer, who comes to a mountain resort in the middle of winter. There he sought for solitude and inspiration, for he lacked both for a while and could not finish his book. He fails to fond solitude, for an unexpected flow of noisy customers arrived at the resort. But yet they have brought him all the inspiration he so desired, because stories, lies and crimes arrived with them.
