Sexuality, A Thirst for Life

Depending on how we express our sexuality, we have the chance to become fully human and genuinely happy, in the truest sense. The one thing that is truly serious when we are getting to know someone is that love has to become a love story. When we say to someone, “I love you”, it’s like saying, “I want you to live forever; I want to be with you as long as I live”. This article is based on a talk given by Enzo Bianchi to young adult guests at the Monastery of Bose on December 31, 2008; this accounts for its informal, colloquial style.
