Shattered Reality

Jem Wilmont had a quiet, easy-going life. She roamed around Earth, working various jobs and indulging her curiosity about people and places. Occasionally, she stopped in to visit with an old friend.

That was before she's mutated by a horrible event that turns her world on its head. That was before she's forced to flee Earth to escape the predator who covets her new ability for his own gain. That was before she's afraid to have friends.
