Description de l’éditeur
Shoot Wrestling is considered a "folk Style" of wrestling in Canada, originally termed "Chin Na". It was introduced in Canada in 1987 by Ron Beer and contains elements of Judo, Freestyle Wrestling, Karate, Kick Boxing, and Kung Fu.
In Grappling Holds: Volume Three, there are two new and exciting flow drills from Shoot Wrestling Canada. The Japanese Toe Lock is a lower body series that teaches the participant how to defend when their opponent has positioned behind them and attempts to choke. These unique and powerful lower body holds will add to your repertoire of submission holds. You will be introduced to the Bicep Curl; the most powerful method of gripping the hands. Always use Shoot Wrestling Canada`s action versus reaction strategy.
The L.A. Lift is an upper body flow drill that teaches the participant a unique approach to an opponent escaping theArm Bar. In the L.A. Lift, the Bicep Curl is shown as an upper body technique.
Now you are introduced to both upper body and lower body techniques. Flow drills are the most sought after drills in Shoot Wrestling Canada`s program. Increase the power of your holds and the technical ability to be fluid from one motion to another. A total body work out, learn to use your arms, legs, and even your head and neck in Grappling Holds: Volume Three.
