Believe it or not but successfully completing your research degree (i.e., master’s, post-graduation or PhD) comprises just half of the journey to become an academic. You will still need to build your researcher profile through insightful and influential publications and creating your unique mark. But how do you do that? Which type of publications should you focus on and prioritise? And which one to avoid or, at least, leave them by the end of the queue?
