After rescuing Jackson Wimmer from a gang of rustlers, John Slocum accepts the rancher’s offer of a job as foreman on the Bar-S Ranch. Between the drunken incompetence of the cowboys and his boss’s intemperate disposition, Slocum wonders if he made the right decision.
