When events spin out of control…only Slocum can ride out the storm.

Driving the stagecoach to Fort Stockton without a shotgun messenger is keeping John Slocum on his toes.  He’s carrying a huge payroll for the Army, and he’s dead sure road agents are after it. But before Slocum can tackle the sharpshooter that’s after the gold, he’s caught up in the tornado that destroys half the town.  It seems Slocum’s got a knack for surviving—except now he’s got to help find the missing payroll, or wind up in jail.  And there’s a mysterious lady with flame-red hair and a strange request that could be deadlier than the storm…
