Children have been disappearing from orphanages for years. It's only when orphan Anna meets heartthrob Jamie at Gruble's Home for Singular Orphans that they discover an underlying connection, and begin to dig. However, digging for answers has grave consequences, and the pair learn things they wish had remained unknown.
