Spiritual Intelligence

“The fascinating personal story of his encounters with mystics and the mystical. I found it both gripping and illuminating.” - DAN HARRIS, New York Times bestselling author and host of the 10% Happier podcast

FROM THE BESTELLING AUTHOR OF EMOTIONAL INTELLIGENCE, A DEEPLY PERSONAL EXPLORATION OF WHAT LIES BEYOND MINDFULNESS AND WHAT IT TRULY MEANS TO JOURNEY TOWARDS SPIRITUAL AWAKENING.

For more than five decades, Daniel Goleman has explored the fascinating world of human consciousness. His journey has taken him from encounters with spiritual teachers to the ancient Buddhist traditions that have shaped modern understandings of mindfulness.

But mindfulness, Goleman argues, is only the beginning. Beyond it lies a deeper path towards spiritual awakening: a transformation filled with greater awareness, and a growing capacity for compassion and equanimity.

In Spiritual Intelligence, Goleman draws on the remarkable people, experiences and ideas that have shaped his own journey of spiritual awakening. Goleman does not see himself as awakened but rather a seeker who is on the journey. With characteristic curiosity and insight, he asks what we can learn from those who have travelled further along the way.

Spiritual Intelligence is a powerful invitation to look beyond mindfulness and into deeper understanding of ourselves, one another and what it means to genuinely live well from one of the most prolific thinkers of our time.
