Supermom Breaks a Nail is a humorous account of one modern mother trying to navigate her way through the avalanche of child-rearing advice as best she can. As she faces mother-in-laws, mothers’ groups, seemingly perfect other mothers, she strives for a balance between the standards placed upon her and the simple joy she finds in her not-so-perfect family.
“Sometimes motherhood is more about trusting one’s own instincts than subscribing to the actions of others – and always have a bottle of wine at the ready,” says the author.
