Supplication and Masturbation

Edward Austin Robertson is a newcomer to the literary scene. He was born and raised in Dallas, Texas and went to school at the University of North Texas to study English, Philosophy, and Psychology. After eight years and no degree, Robertson moved to Oakland, California to chase the ghosts of Jerry Garcia, Hunter S. Thompson and Jack Kerouac. While working on the first draft of his upcoming novel, Chasing Kerouac with my Credit Card, he met a cocktail waitress in San Francisco and fell in love with her. In an attempt to win her heart, he started doing showcases at the club she worked at and soon became comedian Bobby Mickey. Robertson is now living in Portland, Oregon putting the finishing touches on the upcoming novel, due to be out sometime in 2009. Supplication and Masturbation is his first collection of poems.
