My world fell apart when my dad was diagnosed with dementia.

Now, I need money and a way to provide stability for my father.

When an opportunity falls into my lap that can provide both, I grab hold of it with all my strength.

I just need to...focus.


Which is a lot easier said than done, considering my new assistant coach for said opportunity is the infamous--and off-limits--Jude Williams.


He's convinced that if I can relinquish my control and let him take the lead--both inside and out of the championship--everything will fall into place.

But how can I rely on anyone when they've always let me down?


The only person I ever open up to is a stranger on the internet, and even he says I should give Jude a chance.


But if I do, I could lose everything I've worked for...

And so could my dad.
