Tea for Twenty

Paul Murphy, voted in high school the "most likely to become a stand-up comedian," is a long way from Open Mic night. Now a single father of three: introspective Violet; animal-crazy Ivy; and Oliver, his bright son who's on the autism spectrum, Paul also runs a camp for autistic kids. But finances are always tight and maintenance is never-ending. It's Oliver, with his affinity for reality baking shows, who gets an ambitious idea for his birthday: a proper tea party that will also be a fundraiser for the camp.

Enter Lucy Jordan, a button-down tea shop owner whose business is organizing English teas. Lucy's biggest party offering is called "Tea for Twenty," so when Paul asks for help with Oliver's much bigger endeavor, Lucy at first declines; her small shop simply can't manage large parties. In addition, she's leaving in a few weeks for England where she's taking a course to become a certified tea master. 

But Lucy is drawn to Paul's humor, warmth, and devotion to his children, and the more she learns about his chaotic but big-hearted life, the more she wants to help. Eventually the ups and downs of planning Oliver's party lead to laughter and longing for both Lucy and Paul, but with her looming trip, the clock is ticking on their budding romance.

Will their special afternoon tea be just a fleeting moment, or can love brew a way to bridge the distance between their worlds?
