Tex Arkana

David Drake is a man at war, serving in Afghanistan fighting the War on Terror. When his armored transport is torn apart by an IED, he's left to pick up the pieces as he fights his injuries to try and get back to normal. When David is offered an opportunity to not only regain normalcy, but become the pinnacle of human physical achievement, all for the price of re-entering combat, the choice is clear.
