The Before and After

I was born and raised in Portsmouth Ohio in 1953. When I was fifteen I was baptized in Jesus Name and did receive the Lord at Greater Emmanuel 14th and Kinnyst Portsmouth Ohio Bishop QL Wilson was Pastor. Needless to say, I was trying to serve God and still do worldly things and I let the sins of the world be music to my ears, I backslided. 


After finishing High School in 1971, I attended a business college there in Portsmouth, but finished in Columbus with a diploma and certificate in typing, short hand and data entry. Later after that I became a correctional officer in a maximum prison from 1989 to 1995 then resigned. 


During those years I was introduced to some more of the devil’s poison that I almost lost my soul to. I rededicate my life back to God and was baptized the second time and again the devil laid a nasty trick at my feet and I backslide again. 


For the next 13 years I struggled with addiction issues. When God called me again, I heed to its call. I then moved to Indianapolis, Indiana in 2003 and was introduced to the Blessed House of Prayer, Pastor Catherine Thomas-Heard. I was ready to serve the Lord only and resiliently gave my life back to God. I was called to the Ministry and accept my calling.


I’m currently a member of the Fervent Prayer Church under Pastor James Jackson in Indiana. I’m attending his classes to be an ordained Evangelist in 2016. I have been clean, saved and filled with the Holy Ghost going on for 14 years. I will never return to the world in Jesus Name Amen!
