THE CLAN STAPLETON summarizes the results of over 30 years research on the STAPLETON CASTLE SALYER families from the frontier of Southwest Virginia going back to the 1700's showing connections to other Long Hunters, Explorers, Pioneers and Settlers beginning with Jacob Castle of Castle's Woods before 1750, years before Daniel Boone appeared on the frontier.
