The Constant Name

Nigel Whitlock was just your average ex-aristocrat serving time for a little light sabotage until his late father's mistress-marshal sprung him from prison and hurled him headfirst into a galactic murder mystery. Now, alongside his alien best friend, a psychic, a sarcastic AI, and his own clone (awkward), Nigel must outwit power-hungry politicians and cultists obsessed with a cosmic entity known as the Constant Name.

The stakes? Only the minds of every living thing in the Milky Way. If Nigel can't stop a galaxy-wide psychic group hug, he might just end up sharing brain space with his enemies. And what could possibly go wrong with that?
