The Danger Mark The Danger Mark

Description de l’éditeur

"The Danger Mark" was written in the year 1909 by American writer Robert William Chambers. "The Danger Mark" is one of the most popular novels of Robert William Chambers; it has been translated into several other languages around the world and a silent drama film based on this book was directed by Hugh Ford in 1918.

In the early years of his literary career, Robert William Chambers focused on weird horror, earning the admiration of his peers, including the great H.P. Lovecraft. Later he turned his attention to high-society drama and romance, but his treatment of these seemingly trivial topics is freighted with the same intensity and intrigue that characterized his previous work.
"The Danger Mark" follows the ups and downs of an orphaned twin whose hedonistic tendencies may prove to be her downfall.
