The Easter Rainbow Nest

This story began in bed, on the eve of Easter, when my son asked me,
“Daddy, why are eggs colored?”; followed by another question, “Why
does the Easter bunny bring them, and not the chicken?”
I felt then, as I do now, that not only my boy wanted to know, but
other children as well, the truth about Easter.
