The Escape

Tidal waves are crashing higher and higher up the hill. A growing group of animals bands together in a desperate run from the waves. They bicker, quarrel, and insult each other, but each time they reach an impasse that could doom them, one animal uses his or her natural talents to help the others across to higher ground. The animals finally reach the mountaintop. Will that be high enough?
The story is intended for children ages 4-8 and has 17 illustrations.
