Anthony Throllope (1815-1882) was an English writer, one of the most influential writers of the Victorian Era. In his works he portrayed the most sufficient problems of his time: political, social and family issues. 'The Eustace Diamonds' is a novel by Anthony Trollope first published in1871 and it is included in the 'Palliser' series. The central figure of the story is Lizzie Greystock, a lady who seduces a rich man in order to get his money. The lady has an psychological feature — she gets pleasure when she tells a lie.
