An emissary is sent from Taucetus, a conservative, acquisitive, and business-oriented planet to negotiate a trade alliance with his chief rivals, officials from the planet Farr. The Farrans are loose, liberal-minded, and highly sexual, everything the little, blue Cetusians are not. Will Perse manage to negotiate an alliance, or will it all descend into all-out war? Perhaps more importantly, can he resist the beautiful Farran women and remain focused on his objective? It won't be easy.
