We can - and we will.

The astronauts and cosmonauts on the Orion program thought they were alone when they were alone when building a spaceship to go to Mars - but not back.
When they began working on it they found that they were not alone. The ship they were constructing was now being designed by minds much bigger than theirs.
Then two astronauts find something completely alien - something that did not come from Earth.
