The golden hour in Montreal.

Some vampires are dying as the sun goes down.

They're being targeted by a killer just before they wake up. First drained of their blood, then either decapitated or left to burn in the setting sun.

Tensions are growing.

This might be the beginning of a turf war, the work of zealots, or another race altogether, like Demons.

The Council of Vampires has hired Clementine Bayle and her search and find agency Finders, to investigate the killings and find answers. Adding to her problems, a recently murdered policeman's ghost haunts her, seeking her help to solve his murder.

 Life with a vampire lover, a Fire Avian suitor, a djinn confidante, a werewolf coworker, and a couple of ghosts, can be sometimes really simple or extremely challenging, but Clementine has strong and loyal allies. To find out the identity of the user of a deadly magical weapon that drains vampires of their blood and energy, she'll definitely need all the help she can get before someone she cares about dies.
