The Homestead, a Memoir

This is the story of my family's adventure. We left the Canadian west coast on Vancouver Island, travelled to the North Peace River area in northern British Columbia, Canada, established our home there, and then left. It is the story of six children who managed to live this adventure and build a new life after the journey ended. It is a tale of poverty and determination, heartwrenching loss and a testament to grit and a bittersweet life,  Here is how it happened.
