The Legend of the White Buffalo

The story line of this book follows the life and events of William F. Cody (1846-1917) who received the title of Buffalo Bill as a result of his employment to provide meat for the railroad workers. During a seventeen month period, he killed 4,280 bison. Codys early life was what every young boy would dream of, as he became a rider for the Pony Express at the age of 15. His adult life was filled with adventure as a Scout for the Army, a Buffalo Hunter, and eventually a Wild West actor.
