After moving to the Pacific Island nation as a Foreign Correspondent, Jess meets charismatic coffee plantation owner Clancy Jonson and his moody son, Dom, who still can't forgive his father for banishing him to boarding school after his mother's mysterious passing.

Jess and Dom form an uneasy alliance in their quest to find out what really happened to Dom's mother in that sweeping plantation house all those years ago.
