The Rescue Circle

Ryan, a young magician from an English magical lodge, sets himself a test: he will go to the next world to become a psychopomp, and return by a certain time or die in the attempt. He is unprepared for what he encounters: a time tunnel created by an angry soldier, a beautiful but treacherous muse from Mount Olympus, and a rescue circle of dedicated Spiritualists, more skilled than himself. Meanwhile his absent girlfriend, and one of the Spiritualist girls, are on quests of their own in the everyday physical world.
