The Sensitive

Fynn Cage is very sensitive to energy and vibrations and living in this world is a challenge. Her mother suddenly runs out of energy and is dying. Rather than tell Fynn about her true identity, she simply tells her to trust how events unfold in life. She gives her an ancient necklace without telling her it is the key that unlocks the gate to their dimension.

Having no other family, Fynn is taken to an orphanage where events quickly unfold. The necklace is stolen, she is befriended by an invisible cat, and she escapes the orphanage with a boy named Tibby.

Barely staying one step ahead of the authorities, Fynn and Tibby learn there are others like them and that they have only one chance to get home. Fynn must steal the necklace back, and the group must locate the gate before they are stopped by trackers.
