Favorite excellent book

This is one of my favorite book of all time! My second reading still gave me the thrill. The plot is clever and intriguing until the very end ( last words!!!), well paced, beautifully written and the characters are marvelously complex and mysterious, making you uncertain until the end of their motivations and future actions. It is impossible to guess at first read what’s going on, and the characters are NOT all reliable so you keep on thinking on and on... the athmosphere and the setting are very beautiful and fascinating (as the characters minds) so you want to keep living and feeling with them. Claire Douglas has a wonderful writing simple, clear and precise at the same time with a magical touch inside it, she knows how to give beauty to things and sense to feelings. She is a brilliant storyteller, I had already read another book from her and will definitely continue! Nice audiobook read too
