The Slow Walk

The Slow Walk is the story of a group of eleven year olds out on the annual school walk from Highams Park in London to High Beech in Epping. Only not everyone knows the way and some resort to buying maps from people that are only looking to make a profit out of anyone foolish enough to buy one. The teachers line the route via the checkpoints, but after a group of kids are reported missing on the return leg a frantic seach is mounted for them while they have no idea that they are even missing. What was meant to be a routine walk turns into action and adventure on a July day in 1988...
